What a joy to gather together and have some fun mother-daughter time earlier this month! Our little devotional was based from a blog post from
One Love for Christ. This
particular posting was on Ruth, and her story of sacrifice and surrender. With Ruth, there was no turning back. To truly follow Christ's leading, He calls us to surrender our own lives and trust Him with all our hearts.
Mary is also a timely example to us of a gal who gave herself wholly to God and His will. She said: "I'm the Lord's maid, ready to serve. Let is be with me just as You say."
You and I have the opportunity to be Marys and Ruths in today's generation. Are you willing to be His servant? willing to be part of a whole new generation who will be an instrument of light and truth to this world? May this be our prayer!!
